South Parkstreaming Subtitled English



Here is a little summary of the various actions we have undertaken since our last message.


CONSTRUCTION

First we continued the construction of upgraded kitchen. At today, 8 different schools have benefited from these kitchens.

In some cases our work is to improve a kitchen existent in others we had to build it entirely.

Another small work schedule:

Construction of additional sinks (with 2 taps) in the school Nahuinpukio. Indeed, the point of existing water WAS not very suitable for children 3 to 5 years.



We also returned to Bellavista (Communities where we had worked 2 years ago) to do odd jobs but mainly to establish a system of solar shower.
First in the kitchen, an old upgraded kitchen that does not work the cluttered room. At the request of the teacher of the school we have destroyed a part of this cuisine.

In As regards the solar shower, we opted for a simple system: The PVC pipes painted black poses on the roof.
This system can heat a smaller quantity of water but it is simpler and seems more suitable for remote communities like Bellavista.



In our last post we were talking about a solar panel that we built at the Casa de Munay. TODAY, Hui said sensor is finished:

We chose to install this sensor Nahuincucho.
It has been several times that we work in this community, and that at the request of the people that we decided to build public showers.
This project is very interresting because we work with people in the community so that they feel involved and engaged. Indeed, farmers come daily to work with us to the construction of the building.




ANIMATION

On the other hand we also focus on animation and awareness among children.

Grace has a set of awareness, we discuss with children the problems of hygiene, nutrition, environeement, etc. ...




At the end of the game, all children receive a soap and a toothbrush and toothpaste.

Project Overview (2500)
The draft air - earth is a mobile object. In its compact form, it boils down to a volume of 12 m3, which reduces the production of carbon dioxide transport-related material. It is the only Delivery required by the construction process and throughout the useful life of the module. It includes the wooden structure with 48 pallets and 360 linear meters of battens of wood together.
The kit will be accompanied by instructions for use of the land. This training manual will propose a series of test intuitive analysis and adaptive processes of the earth from site construction techniques employed.
Land is the ultimate clean material: it requires no transportation or processing, it is recyclable and biodegradable. Its only shortcoming is the difficulty of its traditional implementations which require manipulation and layout of large volumes of a density greater than 2. The project is looking at ways to mechanize these tasks without increasing the financial and environmental cost. The method of spraying compressed air on a mesh woven of reeds (basketry) offers innovative adaptation of the ancient technique called Quinche.
Beyond its insulating material is a land whose use is intuitive. We work this material as a sculpture by simple aggregation or subtraction. In this sense, the earth, which works by simply stacking, lends itself easily to self-construction. It offers, sandy, high compressive strength and clay, cohesiveness and waterproofing.
The project will combine the one hand, natural materials for elevation: stone, lime, earth, wood, straw, reeds and other recycling of industrial waste: pallets for part of the structure wood, strips of tires for assemblies or packages tetrapack thermo-molded corrugated metal for the cover. An estimated 30% of homes are built in the world based on earth. Finally, it is a clean material throughout its life cycle: abandoned housing biodegrades.
Moreover, the earth walls provide energy savings. They play a role in storing energy: the m asse heat. addition to its storage capacity, the earth behaves dynamically: it restores the warmth or coolness out of phase.
