After 2 weeks of research projects and organization we've finally started work.
With the help of 4 other volunteers Munay, we could start different projects in parallel:
1) Llupapuquio: Painting the comedor school
This small community located 45 minutes Andahuaylas had benefited in 2009 from a project of the association Tsiky Zanaka. They had, among other things, built a kitchen / dining room with a kitchen improved.
The walls of this room remained colored plaster and the group Tsiky 2009 we had been asked to remedy this by giving a coat of paint. So we spent 2 days (2 people) to repaint this room.
After
2) Tablina: upgraded kitchen
This small school of 17 pupils, like many another, had no economic kitchen. Children's meals were prepared with a simple wood fire made on the floor in a corner of the kitchen with no ventilation.
The realization of the kitchen required a working day to 5 people. Indeed, upgraded kitchen for that first we have used two Peruvian specialized in building this type of cuisine. Base kitchen adobe (earth + Straw)
Fireplace
As you can see from the photos above these kitchens are built solely with materials Green: earth, adobe (mud and straw Block).
We then had to return a few days later, once construction is solidified, to finish cooking.
The next day there was a fire in the kitchen and "mama" was responsible for preparing the meals for the children was delighted with the result. Indeed, this new cooking it saves time on cooking, use less wood and more importantly not to cook in a cloud of smoke.
3) Checcche: Roof of the kitchen and upgraded kitchen
In this small community, the kitchen had no roof. We bought here as part of the materials to build what we have done again with the help of community residents.
We also have the opportunity to equip it with an upgraded kitchen.
This community has a school of 200 students. However, they had no place to eat at noon. To overcome this problem, the residents of the community had begun construction of a dining room for the school, however lack of funds, construction had stopped the construction of the pillars of support buildings.
We decided to help after the construction by purchasing sheets forming the corrugated roof and part of the wood framing. So with the help of the people of the community we have built the roof of the dining room.
Work begins Saturday with the upgrade of land and preparation of timber framing.

Preparation of wood framing
This week we also started construction of a solar shower. The first sensor
Peru will allow us to familiarize ourselves with local materials. Indeed he had, once again, to adapt our water heaters based on them. For example, in Nepal, we realize the sensor housing zinc, Peru, the latter is made of wood.
The first shower consists of a solar panel that heats about 100 L of water.
